POLICE LOG

8:21 p.m.—An HUPD officer was sent to the biology laboratory on 16 Divinity Avenue on a report of a stolen $4,000 Apple Macintosh computer and monitor.

Jan. 1:

4:26 p.m.—Officers observed three people possibly smoking marijuana at the Business School Chapel on 66 North Harvard St. in Allston. Two were issued trespasses and Andrew Haycox, 21, was arrested on charges of trespass and marijuana possession.

2:37 p.m.—HUPD Officers found and removed a group of skateboarders from Mather House.

3:04 p.m.—An Officer was dispatched to report on a stolen black IBM Thinkpad laptop computer worth $2,600 at Terry Terrace on 17 Everett St.

10:43 p.m.—Officer was sent to Dunster House on a report of a stolen Dell laptop computer valued at $2,000.

Jan. 3:

11:23 a.m.—Officers were sent to Pound Hall on Mass. Ave. on reports of a Harvard affiliate who was not allowed to join a class and reportedly “dramatically” fell to the ground and fled crying. Officers searched with negative results.

Jan. 4:

5:16 a.m.—HUPD notified of a sexual assault in the Freshman Dorms. The perpetrator was known to the victim, who chose not to file an official report at this time.

2:13 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Fay House on 10 Garden St. on a report of an abandoned knapsack. Officers determined its content to be trash.

Jan. 5:

9:07 a.m.—An HUPD officer was flagged down and told of a child being dragged down the street by an unidentified person on 372 Longwood Ave. The officer located the child and allowed Boston Police Department (BPD) to take over the scene.

2:58 p.m.—A man walked into HUPD to retrieve property he claimed belonged to an arrested family member. Officers determined the man was concealing his identity and was attempting to retrieve his own property. A want/warrant check proved positive and Terry Forrest, 51, was placed under arrest.

Jan. 6:

2:38 p.m.—Officer dispatched to Dunster House on a report of a stolen Hewlett Packard Pavilion laptop computer, a black laptop carry case, an MP3 player, a computer mouse and cables all valued at $2,200.
