10:00 p.m.—A resident reported that he was involved in an argument with his two daughters regarding the rules of the house. There was no physical violence reported and all involved parties were advised of domestic abuse law.

—A White Plains, N.Y. resident reported that while at the Charles Hotel located on 3 Bennett St., unknown parties stole a pair of night vision goggles valued at approximately $2300.

July 22:

—Management reported that an unknown party gained access to the roof of their building at 12 Inman St. They believed that homeless people had been “hanging out” in the area.

3:00 a.m.—A Cambridge resident stated that at 2:30 a.m., while visiting the Pit area of Harvard Square, he gave money to a white man and a black man to purchase beer. An argument ensued, and the reporting party reported that that he was punched, causing him to fall and cut his head. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

July 23:

12:25 p.m.—A resident of Mass. Ave. reported that an unknown party took a pair of gold earrings and a diamond ring from her residence. The reporting party states that maintenance women work in her home.

11:20 p.m.—A resident of Henry Street. reported that an unknown party entered her 1993 Honda Civic while it was parked on Henry Street The ignition and sterring column were both damaged.
