In the debate held in Perkins Hall, Boston, last night, under the auspices of the Women's Educational and Industrial Union between T. H. Russell 2nd, of Boston University Law School, and Miss Grace G. Ward, graduate of the College of Liberal Arts, for the affirmative, and F. Hendrick 1L., and Miss Maud Wood, Radcliffe '97, for the negative, the decision was given in favor of the latter. The outcome of this debate will undoubtedly have a good effect upon debating interests at Radcliffe, which now hold a lower position than seems reasonable from the showing made last night.
