The freshman athletic meeting was more successful than usual, and the material which Ninety-four shows is very satisfactory. With one University record broken and fair time in all the running events, it is evident that there have recently been many valuable additions to the H. A. A. It is to be regretted that there were not more entries and that more of the men who entered did not compete. Ninety-four does not seem to have the right idea of freshman contests. The men who already have reputations are not the only ones who are expected to come out, but also new men, that some idea of the athletics in college may be obtained.
