Men's Swimming Finishes Solid Second After One Day at EISLs

The Harvard men’s swimming and diving team enjoyed a strong opening day in the EISL Swimming and Diving Championships, held at Blodgett Pool.

The Crimson has won eight out of the last ten EISL crowns, the most recent coming in 2003. Though the meet features nine schools, yesterday’s action became a near dual meet between Harvard and Princeton, much as the event has been for the last few years.

In yesterday’s finals, the Crimson took home four first-place finishes out of the six events en route to a second-place standing.

Princeton came out ahead, pacing the competition with 444 points after day one. Harvard’s 415 points were good for second place, and Columbia rounded out the top three, a distant third with 267 points.
