Dec. 21:

12:21 a.m.—A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer was sent to University Health Services (UHS) to assist the staff with an “agitated” patient.

1:31 a.m.—An officer was dispatched to the Freshman Yard Dorms to file a report on a sexual assault that had occurred between 10:00 p.m. on Sept. 14 and 3:15 a.m. on Sept. 15.

Dec. 22:

12:28 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Harvard Medical School on reports of two stolen IBM ThinkPads, valued at a combined $3,000.

9:44 p.m.—Officer dispatched to assist security with a light left on in Canaday Hall. Upon checking the room, the officer determined the room was vacant.

10:38 p.m.—HUPD officers were sent to Dillon Field House in Allston on reports of two “suspicious” people climbing the building’s fire escape. Once officers arrived on the scene, a foot chase ensued. HUPD officers lost them behind the WGBH Channel 2 television station.

Dec. 23:

10:31 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to 20 Prescott St. on a report of the scent of smoke in the building. Officers determined the smell came from a snuffed out candle.

Dec. 24:

11:46 p.m.—An HUPD officer was sent to assist the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MTBA) Police with an “unruly” passenger on one of its buses. The passenger was removed and sent away.

Dec. 25:

3:29 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Au Bon Pain on Mass. Ave. to investigate the theft of a red wallet holding credit cards and cash and a silver Sony TGV25 camcorder, amounting to $1,110 of stolen goods.

Dec. 26:

7:19 a.m.—An officer was sent to 1230 Soldiers Field Road in Allston on a report of a “suspicious” letter taped onto a front door. It was determined to be a Christmas card.
