July 17:

11:15 a.m.—An employee of the Forest City Community Group at 38 Sidney St. reported observing a red motor vehicle at the ramp opposite the company building; a white male exited the vehicle, placed a blue backpack on a granite post and drove away. The Bomb Tech team and the Cambridge Fire Department responded to the scene and determined that the backpack belonged to a Malden, Mass., resident.

2:00 p.m.—A resident of Cottage Street reported that a Hispanic female in her mid-twenties was driving a light-colored sport utility vehicle, engaged in prolonged screaming and displaying her middle finger. According to the reporting party, the woman stopped at River Street and Putnam Avenue, exited her vehicle and said, “I should rip you out of your car and fucking kill you.”

9:00 p.m.—A resident of Concord Avenue reported that she had received frequent harrassing phone calls from July 13 to the present. She stated that the last phone call she received sounded like a ticking noise.

July 18:

4:45 p.m.—A Rindge Avenue resident reported that an unknown party somehow obtained his personal information and used it to open a phone service account, leaving an unpaid balance of $1205. The service was established in Michigan.

7:45 p.m.—A taxi cab driver reported that he picked up a black female at the Braintree MBTA stop and drove her to the Holiday Inn Express. The suspect stated that she needed to go inside and get money. According to the driver, she then went inside, but she never returned, leaving the driver with a fare of $56.

8:25 p.m.—A Revere resident reported that while working at the Galleria Mall, she received a call from her ex-boyfriend. She said he asked who was on the phone, and when she replied, he laughed and hung up. The reporting party has an active restraining order on her ex-boyfriend.

July 19:

—A Boston resident reported that between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., she left her cellular phone behind a counter while working in the Galleria Mall. She said she believes an unknown party swapped her phone’s chip.

11:40 a.m.—A Somerville resident reported that while at the Galleria Mall, she left some personal papers on the counter and engaged in a conversation with an unknown black female. About half an hour later, she said she discovered that her credit card was missing. She notified the credit card company, but the card had already been used at the Galleria, Watertown Mall and the Gap in Central Square. Total amount lost exceeded $700.

July 20:

7:13 p.m.—A Lancaster resident reported that while he was dropping off his children on Lakeview Avenue, the children’s mother hit him with a closed fist. He said she then forcibly slammed the door on him, hitting his foot.

9:20 p.m.—A Rockwell Street resident reported that she observed an unknown black male peering into her window. She said the male asked her to come closer, and she promptly fled the scene. A witness at said location then approached the window and asked the suspect what he was doing.
