This Weekend in Theater

If you didn't catch Timon of Athens last weekend but still want to get your fix of Shakespeare, then check out Shrew, an adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew, this weekend in the Adams House Kronauer Space. Reduced to a cast of four, this production promises to explore one of the Bard's best known and most controversial plays in a dynamic new way.

Upset at the way midterms went? Want to just get away for a while? Then head to the Loeb Ex for Phyllis Nagy's mystery play-with-a-brain Disappeared. A young woman disappears from Hell's Kitchen in New York and it only gets weirder from there.

Still getting over a bad break-up? Perhaps you'll find consolation-or at least food for thought-in the Asian-American Association Player's production of Chay Yew's A Language of Their Own in the Leverett House Old Library. A look into the little-explored Asian-American gay community, the play is sure to be humorous, touching and provocative.
