Current Dudley House Co-Masters PAUL D. HANSON and CYNTHIA ROSENBERGER (above, left) were announced as the new masters of Winthrop House. The two said they plan creative approaches, such as "fostering the arts," to increasing diversity in the house.

RICHARD S. STEEN (above, right), the acting director of the troubled Harvard Arts and Sciences Computer Services (HASCS), was the author of a confidential memo that revealed the problems in the understaffed, underfunded office. On Thursday, Dean of the Faculty JEREMY R. KNOWLES (not pictured) promised that funding for HASCS would be increased in "the near future."

Cambridge City Councillor WILLIAM H. WALSH (right) became the first elected Cambridge official to be convicted of a crime since 1941. The controversial politician was found guilty in U.S. District Court last week on 41 counts of bank fraud and making false statements, but still refuses to resign his council seat. Walsh headed a scheme that defrauded the Dime Savings Bank of New York out of $2.9 million.
