Log of Recent Police Activity in City

The following events were listed in the Cambridge Police Department blotter in the past week.

Dec. 3

A Cambridge resident reported that at 5:10 p.m. while crossing the street at Mass. Ave. and Plympton St. she was struck by a motor vehicle causing injury to her knee. The operator of the motor vehicle then exited the vehicle, threatened the victim and fled the scene.

Dec. 4

Two Spring Street residents were arrested at 95 Mt. Auburn St. for shoplifting.

An Elmer Street resident reported that her daughter, who is an MIT student, has been missing since 10:30 a.m.

A Porter Road resident reported that an unknown person removed a brown wallet from his coat pocket while he was at a restaurant on JFK Street.

Dec. 5

An Arlington resident was arrested at 336 Rindge Ave. for alleged indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14.

Dec. 6

A Putnam Avenue resident reported that at 6 p.m. his ex-roommate ripped the kitchen stairs with a knife and threatened to stab him.

An Everett resident stated that at 12:05 a.m. while at 44 Columbia St. she had an argument with an acquaintance. This person then struck her in the head with a steel kettle, the resident reported.

Dec. 7

A Cambridge resident reported that at 9:10 p.m. he made a pizza delivery but was not paid.
