Junior forward Allison Feaster is already rewriting the history of women's basketball at Harvard.
Feaster scored her 1,000th career point this weekend at the Harvard Invitational, in Sunday's narrow win over Pepperdine.
After scoring 22 points in Harvard's 65-64 opening round loss to Sienna, Feaster needed only four points to break the 1,000-point plateau in the consolation game.
With 8:56 remaining in the first half, last season's Ivy League Player of the Year took a pass from junior guard Alison Seanor and made a lay-up to break the barrier.
Harvard then called timeout and coach Kathy Delaney-Smith presented Feaster with flowers at halfcourt.
