To the Editors of The Crimson:
Please learn the difference between the words "poring" and "pouring." You make this mistake quite often: in the text of the newspaper, in the Confidential Guide and, most recently, in your flyer advertising subscriptions. How do you expect people to be attracted to buying your newspaper when you commit basic errors in your writing?
For future reference:
pour: to send a fluid (or particles) flowing or falling, as from one container to another, or into, over or on something.
pore: to meditate or ponder intently; to read or study with steady attention or application.
