Beginning February 7, The Crimson's Sports Cube will introduce a new feature--Sports Saturday, a full page of features, profiles and statistics appearing every week.
Culled from the national, local and Harvard sports scene, Sports Saturday will give The Crimson's stable of writers and photographers a chance to enhance their coverage in a wide variety of areas. The new features will include:
--On the Beat. Inside info on who's hurting and who's happy, who's in and who's out, what's happening and why on
--The Numbers Game. "The stats didn't tell the story," the coach laments. Or did they? You be the judge with the aid of our expanded numbers summary.
--Where are they now? You've heard of them--the stars of the sports scene of years gone by--but what are they up to now? Sports Saturday this week will catch up with Pete Varney, the football star in the year of the 29-29 "victory" over Yale.
