Tommy John held the Dodgers scoreless on just three hits for seven innings, and reliever Rich "Goose" Gossage--bouncing back from a lackluster outing Tuesday night--struck out three in the last two frames as the Yanks downed the Dodgers 3-0. The Yanks now own a commanding 2-0 lead as the best-of-seven World Series moves to Los Angeles for game three on Friday.
