APOLOGY

The Crimson apologizes to Third World people at Harvard and elsewhere for a portrayal of Black people in the picture accompanying the March 1, 1980 article entitled, "The Celling of America," that was insensitive. We realize that this insensitivity may reflect unconscious racism on our part. The individuals pictured are not and have never been in prison. In fact, the individuals pictured are Harvard-Radcliffe students.
