Can you identity the various bones in the hand or say how many satellites orbit Jupiter, Mars, and Uranus? Contestants in Harvard's College Bowl answered those and other obscure questions during competition last weekend for a place in the regional tournament in two weeks.

The team led by Paul S. Bernstein '81 won the competition after a final round yesterday against the runner-up team captained by Steven A. Wolfe '82. The winners will travel to the University of Connecticut in Storrs to match wits with five or six other college teams.

Bernstein's team included Mark A. Zupan'81, Steve Kaplan '81 and Steven Kaimin, a chemistry graduate student. Bernstein's team took first place last year both at Harvard's first College Bowl and at the regional competition.

Heather E. Cole, librarian at Lamont and Hilles and College Bowl campus coordinator, will travel with the winners to the regionals. "They're really good," she said yesterday, adding that they have a "good chance" at the national tournament later this month in Huntington, W. Va
