The Crimson soccer team had to settle for second place in the Ivy League this year behind potent Penn. But for the third consecutive season a Harvard player won the individual scoring title.

The Crimson's Felix Adedeji led the league with 13 points, including ten goals and three assists.

Harvard placed four men among the top seven scorers, including wing Chris Papagianis, who tied Cornell's Victor Huerta for second place with ten points.

Papagianis, who has scored two goals in each of the Crimson's NCAA divisional playoff games, has been battling Adedeji all year as Harvard's overall scoring leader.

Crimson fullback Chris Wilmot finished fifth in league scoring with eight points, and Phil Kydes placed seventh with six.

The only other Crimson player in the top twenty scorers was captain Charlie Thomas, who had five points. Thomas has been hobbled most of the season with an ankle injury.

Crimson goalie Shep Messing finished fourth among Ivy tenders with a 1.43 per game goals against average. In seven league games Messing turned away 47 shots and had ten goals scored against him. Messing has allowed but two goals in Harvard's last four games, and he has not allowed any goals in the two playoff games.
