The Kennedy Institute of Politics will distribute polls tonight in House dining halls and in the Union to assess undergraduate interest in two proposed programs.
The first would institute non-credit siminars on political affairs taught by junior faculty members. The second would establish a political union for informal discussion among undergraduates. With the help of the Young Democrats and the Young Republicans, the Institute has also arranged opportunities for volunteers to work in the major state campaigns next year. The jobs will be open anyone, not just to members of the two political organizations. Applications for volunteer work in the senatorial, the gubernatorial, or the attorney general's race will be passed out along with the polls.
