Captain Gene Kinasewich has been named to this season's all-Ivy hockey team by a unanimous vote of the League's coaches. Three other Crimson players were placed on the second team.

Kinasewich, a former Canadian semipro star whose eligibility was argued up and down the Eastern College Athletic Conference two years ago, was one of two unanimous selections. Brown's sophomore defenseman Bob Gaudreau also received the maximum 50 points. A first-place vote counted ten points and a second-team vote five; no coach was allowed to vote for a player from his own team.

Budge Gere of Dartmouth was the first-team goalie with 45 points. Cornell's defenseman Jerry Walker (25), and Brown forwards Terry Chapman (45) and Leon Bryant (35) rounded out the first team.

Crimson goalie Brandy Sweitser (25), defenseman Mike Patterson (20) and forward Ike Ikauaiks (30) were named to the second unit, along with Yale's outstanding defenseman Toby Hubbard (20), forward Jerry Kestandoff of Cornell (20), and Dartmouth's forward Dung Hayes (15).

One other Harvard player, second-line center Billy Lamarche, received honorable mention.

Kinasewich and Ikauniks were also near the top of the League in the final scoring statistics released yesterday. Kinasewich, with 9 goals and 9 assists for 18 points, trailed league-leader Terry Chapman by two; Ikauniks had 16 to finish sixth.
