Crimson Soccer Eleven Favored At Williamstown

The Crimson soccer team will have a slight edge this afternoon when it faces a slightly green, if determined Williams squad at Williamstown. The Ephs defeated Massachusetts, 4 to 1, in their only contest this season, while the Crimson has a 2-1 record.

Williams' coach, Clarence Chaffee, gives Harvard the edge, because of a "well-balanced squad," but expects a "well-played and hard-fought game." He added that his team had outplayed UMass badly, so he was unable to predict how Williams would perform against stiffer opposition.

Bruce Munro, Crimson coach, is expected to retain his usual starting lineup, with Hank Holmes at outside left, Charlie MacVeagh at inside left, Captain Grey Hodnett at center forward, Jim Shue at inside right, and Ken McIntosh at outside right.

Don Beaver and Chris Provenson will start at fullback. Tony Oberschall will go at center halfback, while John Felstiner will start at left half and Marshall Schwartz will start at right halfback. Elliott Finkelstein will be in the nets.
