Unused Linen Supply Unknown to Students

Although few students know about it, the University has had a linen service for over 40 years, A. D. Trottenberg, operating manager of Houses and College dormitories, said yesterday.

Trottenberg said that the service, which supplies towels, sheets, and pillow cases, costs $25 a year, or one dollar less than Gordon Linen Service. He added that for an extra $5 the University also provides blankets for a year.

Trottenberg, who expressed surprise that more students don't use the service, which dates from the Gold Coast are, said that "We are not expecting any sudden rush as of now." He added that the University had begun supplying sheets and towels to students who "didn't care to bring their own."
