P.B.K. Selects Six 'Cliffe Students, Sixteen 1956 Men

Sixteen members of the Senior Class were elected to Phi Beta Kappa on Thursday night, by the Junior Eight and faculty advisors. Winthrop and Kirkland Houses lead with three members apiece, while each of the other five Houses placed two on the list.

The list of the Senior Sixteen follows:

Adams House: Andrew T. W. De Hirsch, of New York City, and Leigh B. Trevor, of Galesburg, Ill.

Dunster House: David W. Maxey, of Bryn Mawr, Pa., and Jay H. Robbins, of Woodmere, N.Y.

Eliot House: Charles A. Behr, of New York City, and Carl B. Cordes, of Larchmont, N.Y.

Kirkland House: Peter L. Falb, of Brooklyn; Albert B. Levin, of East Orange, N.J.; and N. Richard Werthamer, of Milwaukee.

Leverett House: John A. Armstrong, of Schenectady, N.Y., and Pierre C. Hohenberg, of Paris, France.

Lowell House: Dean W. Rogers, Jr., of Chevy Chase, Md., and Roger A. Golde, of Los Angeles.

Winthrop House: David C. Baum, of Highland Park, Ill; Robert M. O'Neil, of Cambridge, Mass.; and Arthur G. Siler, of Orinda, Calif.

The six elected to the Radcliffe chapter are Edith Baras of Roxbury; Joan Louise Foster, of Everett Hall and Hanover, N.H.; Abigail J. Lewis, of Holmes Hall and New Haven, Conn.; Cynthia M. Rich of Moors Hall and Baltimore; Ann Waddington of Briggs Hall and Bartlesville, Okla.; and May Werthan, of Eliot Hall and Nashville, Tenn.
