Randall Bars Rally Parade On Mass. Ave.

University Police Chief Alvin R. Randall officially vetoed yesterday the plans of the cheerleaders and hand to enliven tonight's rally with a parade down Massachusetts Avenue. The rally is still scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at University Hall and a 100 piece hand will lead the marchers across Massachusetts Avenue to the Blockhouse.

Randall squelched the Massachusetts Avenue parade on the grounds that it would disrupt traffic. Cambridge Police Lieutenant William L. Nixon said last night that the University could hold rally parades on Massachusetts Avenue if it secured a permit. Cambridge Latin School held just such a parade on October 6.

Hordes of Indians are expected to join the Crimson rooters at tonight's rally. President John Sloan Dickey has expedited the exodus from Hanover by declaring tomorrow an Athletic Holiday and calling off Saturday classes.

Speakers at the rally will include Coach Lloyd Jordan, Captain Phil Isenberg, quarterback Carroll Lowenstein, and end Dike Hyde. William J. Binghan '16, director of athletics, will be unable to address the ralliers as was previously announced.

Dartmouth and Crimson supporters have taken all available hotel accommodations in Cambridge.
