HOOPSTERS WILL FACE TIGERS AWAY TODAY

CENTER POST UNDECIDED AS TEAM LEAVES FOR JUNGLE

Optimistic, but not in the least overconfident, are the words which express the feelings of Coach Wes Fesler and his Varsity cagers who are invading the Tiger's lair at Princeton tonight, hoping to repeat their "Once Over Lightly" (40 to 39) triumph of the previous meeting of the two teams in Cambridge.

The Feslermen are still seeking their second league victory and the Tigers will be anything but a soft touch tonight. Cappy Cappon has an aroused Orange and Black squad which cannot be kept at the very threshold of the comeback trail indefinitely. Despite the addition of Bob James to the starting lineup and improved all-round play, the Crimson must rate as slight underdogs to the Bengals.

Crimson Starters

Coach Fesler has indicated that Charley Lutz, Fred Hockel, Captain Lupe Lupien, and Bob James will be at their regular positions. The starter at the pivot post, however, will probably be undecided until just before game time. Homer Peabody and Tread Ruml are both certain to see plenty of service at center, and either may get the opening assignment.

The Tigers have made some changes in their lineup since they descended upon the Indoor Athletic Building (and really left when there were still two minutes remaining to play in the game). Johnny Meyerholz and Eddie Green will be at the forwards, Captain Scof Scofield at center, and Dan Carmichael and Eddie Hobler at the guards. Green and Carmichael are comparative newcomers in starting roles, but each has had abundant experience.

'42 Hoopmen Oppose Andover

Skip Stahley's classy Freshman basketball squad will journey to Andover this afternoon to face the strong Academy quintet. The Yardlings have at least eight first-class players ready to enter the fray, and they are expected to add another victory to their increasing list.

The Crimson team is anxious to gain revenge on the Blue for the triple defeat suffered Saturday in House swimming and Freshman wrestling and track.
