Modelled on the Yale-Harvard-Princeton Conference on Public Affairs, now in its third year, plans have been promulgated for a similar conference with Pennsylvania, Dartmouth and Cornell participating.

Cornell will select 25 or 30 men, while it is expected that Pennsylvania and Dartmouth will both sends groups of 20 men to the conference at Ithaca at the end of April.

The Y-P-B 1938 conference will discuss "Problems of the United States Government," while the Pennsylvania, Cornell, Dartmouth confab will discuss "Making Democracy Work."

Invitations have been extended to certain members of the student body to be examined under the auspices of the Institute of State and Local Government. The general topic will be split up into five sub topics with a small number of men from each college participating.

Not only do conferences of this sort stimulate undergraduate interest in government, but they also enable the outside world to find out just what the college man thinks--or, at least, that he does think--about the perplexing problems of the day.
