With the appearance of the more experienced upperclassmen only two days off, the Freshman football squad showed a decided improvement over its previous performances. The result of three days of hard drill on fundamentals was clearly visible.
Harder blocking, faster starting, and more deceptive running by the backs characterized the practice. The session closed with a short signal drill.
All the coaches were present including Jimmy Dunn, who is leaving to be head coach at Northeastern next fall. In order that no man shall be overlooked Harlow has been continually shifting the coaches from one group to another.
