Lobey Forbush '39, one of the outstanding divers on the Varsity swimming team, will be out of competition for the rest of the season as the result of a broken left wrist suffered Tuesday night. He received the injury after the Penn basketball game while trying to climb down out of the grandstand. Forbush was rated as the second best diver on the squad by Coach Hal Ulen and his loss will weaken the team in that event.

Tonight at 8 o'clock in the Indoor Athletic Building the swimming team will tackle the Boston Y.M.C.A. The outstanding race of the meet will be the 100-yard free style swim in which Charlie Hutter '38 will attempt to swim to a new Harvard and pool record. The present Harvard record of 52 2-5 seconds, which is already held by Hutter, is also the pool mark which the star Crimson natator shares with Charles D. Flachmann of the University of Illinois, who attained the time in the National Collegiate Meet held here in 1935.

Ready For Record

Hutter a member of the American Olympic team last summer, is swimming better this year than at any other time in his Harvard career. His time trials in the 100-yard event seem to indicate that he will be very close to the record tonight.

Harvard is expected to win easily over the Boston Y team to gain its fourth straight triumph. Some good competition should be forthcoming, however, for Boston is also undefeated after two meets.

This will be the last appearance of the Crimson in the local pool until February 20, when they will face Brown.

Freshman Meet

The Freshman team will have an afternoon meet with Brookline High School at 4.30 o'clock in the Harvard pool.
