LOWELL HOUSE DINNER DANCE ON NOVEMBER 3

House Committee Plans Event To Take Place After Princeton Game -- Band Not Yet Chosen

When the cheering is over after the Harvard-Princeton game on Saturday, November 3, a dinner dance will be started in Lowell House, it was announced last night by the Lowell House committee, consisting of Arthur W. Todd '35, chairman, Charles Houston '35, Donald S. Carmichael '35, George T. Skinner '36, and William Burtin '36.

No orchestra has been picked for the occasion as yet, but somebody good may be expected, especially after the high standard set last spring when Ozzie Nelson and his boys, accompanied by Harriet Hilliard, were imported to inspire the Bell Boys.

A further announcement came from the House committee last night to the effect that it was considering the preparation of a special Lowell House participation ticket for House squash because a regular H. A. A. ticket would not be valid in the Houses this year.

Another innovation in Lowell House is a special lighting system which has been installed in the library. Special ceiling lights have been put in to supply a quantity of indirect illumination; further, tested reading lights have been placed above all the chairs.
