Intramural Athletes to Meet Yale in Sports Today

Intra-mural contests between the Crimson and the Blue arrive at the climax of the season today when two Harvard inter-House champions come up against their traditional Yale rivals. Leverett, leaders of the House tennis circuit by a mere shoe-string edge over the Lowell netmen, and Brooks, champions of the crews, make big medicine this afternoon in their respective bids for supremacy.

Vanderbilt, one of the Yale Colleges, will furnish the opposition for the Angler oarsmen in the races which will be run off at Derby, Connecticut; and according to all reports, they are going to prove a tough nut to crack. As champions of the Elis, they cleaned up everything in their regatta held several days ago.

The Brooks boatmen have been working out regularly under the tutelage of Coach Tod Hoople, and although it seems to improve with age, no information is available to the effect that it has ever been clocked at any better than six minutes and 59 seconds for the Heule.

The boatings of the crew will remain unchanged from that which on two occasions left the other House shells floundering in its wake, with the exception of the replacement by Phillip S. Weld '36 of John C. Storey '35, who pulled at number three position. The oarsmen are as follows: cox, Wallace E. Howell '36; stroke. Thomas H. P. Whitney '35; 7, Richard Stackpole '35; 6, Arthur Reaue, Jr. '36; 5. William W. Pront '36; 4. Harry Marvin-Smith '36; 3, Weld; 2. Samuel D. Warren '36; and bow, Ambrose C. McCabe '36.

Defenders of the Blue will line up thus; cox. Bixby; stroke, Cook; 7, Mayer; 6, Miller; 5, Jordan; 4, Harris; 3, Ebbert; 2, Carpenter, and bow, Chase.
