University: "Affairs of Collini"--Reviewed in this issue.

Metropolitan: "Madame Du Barry"--Reviewed in this issue.

Fine Arts: "The Blue Light"--Directed by Leni Riefenstahl, this picture is known particularly for its outstanding and remarkable photography. The dialogue is in Italian and German, with English titles. There is no cast, and the local color is supplied by natives of the Italian Tyrol, where the picture was taken.

Loew's State: "Outcast Lady" and "Have a Heart"--The first picture stars Constance Bennett, Herbert Marshall, Hugh Williams, and Ralph Forbes. The story is taken from the popular novel "The Green Hat". The second picture includes Jean Parker, James Dunn, Una Merkel, and Stuart Erwin in the cast.

Paramount and Fenway: "Bellc of the Nineties"--Mae West gets her second showing in Boston when she appears at the Paramount and Fenway in this rather boisterously amusing tale of the ever so gay nineties. Also "Big Hearted Herbert", telling the story of a boorish, self-made man and his conversion by members of his family to the amenities of life, is included on the bill. Guy Kibbee has the leading role in this picture, which is taken from the play of the same name.

RKO Boston: "Wake Up and Dream"--Russ Columbo, June Knight, and Roger Pryer are featured in this new musical film. These three take the parts of a vaudeville trio who act in the small towns. On the stage will appear Ranny Weeks and his orchestra, besides a stage show and several other acts.

Loew's Orpheum: "Death on the Diamond"--This is a mystery telling of a murder on the baseball diamond which is intertwined with a romance. Madge Evans and Robert Young have the leading roles, along with the St. Louis Cardinals. The stage show offers Harry Howard in a singing and dance skit entitled "Born To Be Laughed At".

RKO Kelths: "Count of Monte Cristo"--This picture has been held over for another week because of its surprising popularity. Robert Donat has the role of Dantes in this famous story of Du mas. Elissa Landi plays Mercedes, the heroine. Sidney Blackmer, O. P. Heggie, and Louis Calhern are included in the cast.

Modern: "Now and Forever"--Gary Cooper. Shirley Temple, and Carole Lombard are the leading attractions in this film. On the same bill is "The Case of the Howling Dog," a mystery drama, with Warren Williams and Mary Astor in the chief parts.

Uptown: "The Fountain"--This film is based on the famous novel of Charles Morgan. Ann Harding is in the leading role, and she is supported by Charles Morgan, Brian Ahern, Paul Lucas, Jean Hersholt, and Ralph Forbes. On the same program will be "Now and Forever", the same picture which is showing at the Modern.

Bowdoin Square: "Dames"--This picture stars Ruby Keller, Dick Powell, Joan Blondell, and Zazu Pitts. The latter supplies her usual quota of laughs, and the picture as a whole is well worth seeing. The companion picture will be the "Cats Paw", Harold Lloyd's latest film. There are also five acts of vaudeville.
