GUNDLACH TO START IN BATES GAME SATURDAY

KELLY LOSTTO SQUAD FOR SOME TIME; NOW IN STILLMAN

As the result of yesterday afternoon's scrimmage it now seems very probable that Captain Gundlach will start at right guard in the Bates game on Saturday, but at the same time it has been definitely announced that Shaun Kelly will not be able to get into the game at all.

Still another possible change in the lineup came to light yesterday when Jim Spring replaced Bill Lane at left tackle during a good part of the scrimmage. Spring was going very well, whereas Lane, who had improved a great deal in the previous sessions this week, was a bit off his game.

Gundlach has played in every game since the beginning of his Sophomore year and has started in 15 of the 16 encounters the Crimson has scheduled. Since he went through 20 minutes of scrimmage play yesterday; the chances are that he will be all set for action on Saturday. But if he isn't in the lineup when the team trots out onto the field, it is very improbable that he will go in at all, that is, later in the game.

Kelly is still up in Stillman and is definitely, off the list of combatants.
