New Hampshire Harries Win Seventh Annual Affair Here

Bowdoin Star Individual Winner of Honors

The harriers of the University of New Hampshire won the seventh annual Harvard open intercollegiate cross country run held over the Charles River course, yesterday afternoon. The New Hampshire runners boat back the sturdy threat of Bowdoin College to capture team honors. The score was New Hampshire 40, Bowdoin 52, Northeastern 66, Maine 93, Rhode Island 114, Springfield 130 and Boston College 135.

Ed Hutchinson of Bowdoin carried of the individual laurels of the day, placing first in the four and one half mile race after a hard duel with John Irving of New Hampshire. The Wildcats won the team title.
