CRIMSON TENNIS TEAM DEFEATS BROWN, 9 TO 0

Victory at Providence Gives Tenth Straight Win--Six of Ten Have Been Shutouts

The University tennis team made it ten in a row by blanking the Brown netmen, 9 to 0 at Providence yesterday afternoon. This is the sixth shutout of the ten victories of the Crimson this season, and was achieved without much difficulty.

The matches of the University Seconds with Exeter at Exeter and the Freshman with Andover on the Divinity Courts were both called off on account of court conditions. When or if they will be played off was not announced last night.

B. H. Whitbeck '29, defeated Williams (B), 6-4, 6-3; A. Ingraham Jr '30 defeated Weiss (B), 6-0, 6-1. F. B. Ward '30 defeated Weisenberg (B), 6-0, 8-6. J. L. Ware '30 defeated Rutan (B), 6-4, 6-4. R. L. Tower '31 defeated Snow (B), 6-3, 6-1.

Doubles--Ingraham and Ward defeated Weiss and Weisenberg (B), 6-0, 7-5, Whitbeck and Ware defeated Williams and Rutan (B), 6-4, 4-6, 7-5. Tower and Trask defeated Snow and Thomas (B), 6-2, 6-1.
