WINNER OF CURRENT EVENTS PRIZE OUT OF NATIONAL TEST

C. E. Wyzanski Jr. '27, winner of the first prize in the Harvard division of the New York Times Current Events contest, will not compete this year in the national contest, as was recently announced.

This announcement comes from the committee in charge of the contest. Wyzanski, winner of last year's national contest, will not be allowed to compete for honors, because the committee believes it best that the winner each year should not be allowed to compete in the following contest.

Harvard's representative in the national contest to be held on May 14 will be D. G. Fisher '27, who won the honorable mention in the preliminary contest held last month. The winner of the national contest is entitled to a prize of $500 and a gold medal.
