BIG TREE POOL IS SCENE OF SWIMMING CONTEST

Six Individual Events and Relay Race Attract 75 Entries--Muir and Kelly Probable Judges

A swimming meet open to all members of the University, including both graduate and undergraduate schools, will be held this afternoon at the Big Tree swimming pool. A program of six events has been, arranged by D. J. Kelly, Director of Physical Education, and Robert Muir, instructor in swimming at the Big Tree Pool.

Over 75 entries have been attracted by the five events open to individuals, the 50 yard free style event, the 200 free style, the 100 yard back stroke race, the fancy dive, and the beginners race. This last event is open only to men who have learned to swim this year.

Four teams have signed up for the 100 yard relay race, the only event of its kind on the program.

Winners of first, second, and third places will receive medals, according to an announcement made last night. Mr. Kelly and Mr. Muir will probably act as judges.
