Geoffrey Platt '27, captain of the University crew this year, is still at the Massachusetts General Hospital where for some time he has been undergoing treatments for sinus trouble. His condition is rapidly improving and it is thought that he will be able to return to college within the next week. No operation has been necessary and Platt will soon be able to wield an oar although probably it will take some time for him to get into condition.
Rumors that Platt is seriously ill and may be forced to resign his captaincy are entirely unfounded. Shortly after his return to college he will begin getting into shape for the crew season which is already under way, although it is probable that he will work on the tank and the machines at first.
