FOGG COLLECTION BEGINS MIGRATION TO NEW MUSEUM

Starting tomorrow, the Fogg Museum will begin its migration to the now building. With the moving of upward of 40,000 prints, that department will lead the exodus.

While there has been steady transplanting of objects during the last month, it has consisted in the moving of cases from the attic and cellar, and of furniture. These were objects not in use or on exhibition, and their removal to the storeroom in the new museum caused no inconvenience to the work of the department.

As no print courses are being given this year, that branch was the first of the important collections to be moved. Other departments will be transferred as soon as they can be spared and the necessary cases and new furniture have arrived.
