TWO GAMES ADDED TO ICE SCHEDULE

Seventeen Players Survive Final Division--Freshman Turnout Numbers 70

The addition of two games to the program prepared for a University hockey squad now pared down to its fighting strength, and the appearance of a group of Freshman ice aspirants, 70 strong, were the keynotes of a busy day at the Harvard camp at the Boston Arena yesterday.

A perennial rivalry will be renewed when the Crimson six clashes with McGill's speedy outfit in New York on January 7 in the first of the two new games on the winter's list. The other newcomer to the season's program is the St. Francis Xavier sextet, another Canadian team, which visits the Arena on February 9.

In a final cut, Coach Joseph Stubbs '20 has retained 17 men to face the schedule ahead of the Crimson team. The list of linemen includes: Captain J. P. Chase '28, N. S. Clifford '29, J. P. Davis '30, W. L. Elkins '29, F. R. G. Giddens '30, G. C. Holbrook '30, C. B. Lakin '30, Arthur Mills '29, A. W. Richardson '28, John Tudor '29, and W. D. Wetmore '30. The defense men are: A. S. Bigelow '29, H. W. Bigelow 29, Willard Howard ocC., W. G. Saltonstall '28, and Joseph Morrill '28, and H. H. Newell '29, goal guards.

The Freshman squad which reported to Coach John Mickles 1G.B. is the largest first-year aggregation to report in several years. The next Freshman practice will be on Monday, when the squad will be divided into two groups of 35 men. Organized practice will open shortly after Christmas.
