42 HARVARD CLUB AWARDS ARE VOTED

Majority of Honors Given to Students Resident in Club Vicinities--Seven Are Beneficiaries of Philadelphians

By recent vote of the Harvard Corporation 42 scholarships, founded and maintained by Harvard Clubs, were awarded to undergraduates. These clubs, in most cases, give preference to students who reside or have studied in the vicinity of the donating clubs.

Seven of the scholarships are maintained by the Harvard Club of Philadelphia, six by the Harvard Club of Chicago, five by the Harvard Club of New York City, and four by the Harvard Club of Boston. Other Harvard Clubs maintain one or two scholarships.

The awards were made to the following:

Harvard Club of Concord: A. B. Rood '31.

Harvard Club of Connecticut: G. E. Hodge 1E.S.

Harvard Club of West Coast of Florida, and the Associated Harvard Clubs: H. H. Caffee '31.

Harvard Club of Grand Rapids: C. S. Rowe '31.
