The Business School is this year discarding the practice of admitting mid-year classes. From experience gained in six years of graduating classes in February as well as in June, the administration has decided that the number of men benefited is small in proportion to the increased outlay in instructors and equipment necessitated by the semiannual graduation schedule.

The first mid-year class was admitted in 1921. At that time it was felt that men who were ready for admission in February should be given the opportunity of beginning their course at that time. In actual practice, however it has been found that almost double the staff is needed to handle the double curriculum. It is felt that this increase in teaching force is not justified, for out of a total enrolment of 730 in the Business School this year, only 90 men are included in the two mid-year classes.

The classes of February 1927 and February 1928 at present completing their courses will contain the last mid-year graduates.
