A list of the 14 ranking squash players of the University was issued yesterday by Coach Cowles of the University team. Seven of the men ranked were on last year's list and all seven have advanced in rank.

The following is the order of the ranking:

1. W. P. Dixon '25.

2. H. N. Rawlins '27.

3. G. D. Debevoise '26.

4. E. M. Upjohn '25.

5. A. L. Smith '25.

6. P. M. Lenhart '27.

7. L. S. Haskins '26.

8. W. B. McIlvaine 3L.

9. J. D. DuBois 1L.

10. J. H. Finlay '25.

11. P. R. Pease '26.

12. R. S. Wright '26.

13. L. A. Weisman '26.

14. J. McC. Roots '25.

The first place goes to Dixon without dispute. Although he did not participate in either the College or the University tournament, his brilliant play on the team throughout the year, his winning the national squash title, and the fact that he was in the finals of the Massachusetts squash championship all conduce to his preeminence.

Rawlins Ahead of Debevoise

Rawlins, second in rank, attained his position through winning both the College and the University squash tournaments. In the College tournament, his path to the championship' lay through Debevoise, captain of next year's team, whom he defeated in the finals.

Debevoise, in third place, played a steady winning game on the University team. Next year, as captain, he will have excellent material to choose from as only five of the twelve undergraduate ranking players will be graduated this year. Besides Rawlins, Coach Cowles anticipates that Haskins, Lenhart, Pease and Wright will be likely competitors.
