TO GIVE BAKER FAREWELL DINNER MONDAY EVENING

WELL KNOWN PROFESSOR WILL TALK LAST

Professor G. P. Baker '87 will be the guest of honor at a farewell banquet followed by a reception given for him at the Agassiz Theatre of Radcliffe College on Monday night at 8.30 o'clock. Professor Baker is now in New York City, but intends to return here tomorrow.

The reception is open to former members and workers of the 47 Workshop and the members of the private audience that formerly attended Professor Baker's presentations. The public and the press are excluded from the meeting. The committee in charge of arranging the plans for Monday night's dinner is composed of E. T. Goodnow '17, chairman, J. C. Monroe, treasurer, Elizabeth W. Monroe, secretary, E. A. Whitney '17, J. W. D. Seymour '17, T. P. Robinson, Alice H. Spalding, and Dorothy Sands.

The committee has planned to have speeches by former members of English 47, but has not definitely decided on them. There will also be speakers from several theatrical publications and representatives of the professional stage. The committee has made no definite decisions as to who these speakers will be except they will all be former members of Professor Baker's course at the University. Professor Baker is the last speaker on the evening's program.

The dinner itself will be an informal affair. At the reception to be held afterwards in Agassiz Theatre the former students of English 47, the private audience, and Professor Baker's workers will be in attendance. The speeches are all scheduled for after the banquet.
