TEAM B OF UNIVERSITY BOWS TO MILTON CLUB IN SQUASH

J. T. Bradlee '22 Only Crimson Player to Win in Matches Played on Strange Courts--Games Closely Fought

Saturday afternoon University Squash Team B was defeated by the Milton Squash Racquets Club in four out of five matches. The University team, playing on unfamiliar courts against more experienced players, were no match for their opponents, and J. T. Bradlee '22 was the only man able to win. The other matches were closely fought, however, two of them going the limit of five games, while none were won in straight contests.

Carroll Harrington '24 and C. J. Mason Jr. '22 played well for the University, both their matches being in doubt until the last game.

The summary is as follows: H. B. Minot defeated Carroll Harrington '24, 12-15, 15-12, 17-15, 6-15, 15-9; G. N. Hurd defeated C. J. Mason Jr. '22, 15-7, 15-10, 11-15, 12-15, 15-10; C. P. Clifford defeated F. I. Carpenter Jr. '24, 13-18, 15-12, 15-10, 15-10: J. T. Bradlee '22 defeated W. B. Wood, 15-11, 7-15, 15-10, 15-9; Waliand Wight defeated C. C. Colt '24, 15-12, 13-18, 15-10, 15-12.

In the Canadian National Squash Racquets Championship, begun on Saturday, E. M. Hinkle '22, the University's only representative, reached the fourth round by easily defeating W. H. Gilmour of Ottawa, but was eliminated in the next round by R. C. Bray, captain of the Newton Squash Racquets Club, who won by the score of 15-13, 18-16, 17-14. Channing Wakefield 1L., a member of last year's Team A, who is representing the B. A. A., is still in the tournament, baring defeated A. P. Clark of Philadelphia in the fourth round.
