Contrary to the decision made last October, the Cercle Francais has resolved to give its annual production this spring and has already formulated plans for the performance, which will take place early in May. Although it was the war situation which influenced the officers of the society to cancel the play in the fall, on further consideration it has been decided that the production would be justified if the proceeds were devoted to some form of war relief and the expenses of the performance were curtailed as much as possible. In pursuance with this policy no salaried coach will be employed, as in former years, to train the cast. No definite arrangements for the presentation of the play have been made as yet, but it is understood that at least two performances will be given, one in Cambridge, probably at Agassiz House, Radcliffe, and the other in Boston.
