The S. A. T. C. band which played in the parade last Tuesday, will probably continue to have rehearsals and play whenever occasion demands. Musical Director Reynolds announced this after the parade, before dismissing his men. The instruments were given out Monday night and a brief practice was held in the Stadium Tuesday morning. Most of the men had not played for some time, but a number were members of the R. O. T. C. band last year and otherwise experienced. Altogether, the band numbers about fifty men, including the drum and bugle corps. Among these are five trombones, four bassos, four altos, and a proportionate number of piccolos, flutes, clarinets and first and second cornet players. The band will in all probability furnish the music at the Boston College football game on the twenty-third of this month and also at the Brown game on the thirtieth. In spite of the unexpectedly large number already in the band, more men can be used. Civilian bandsmen and members of the Junior Company are eligible. The former, however, must wear uniforms without insignia. All men capable of playing a band instrument should report to F. L. Reynolds '20, All, Persis Smith Hall.
