Liberty Loan Items.

COMMENT

In comparing the results of Germany's seventh War Loan subscription with the subscription for the second Liberty Loan in the United States, it should be borne in mind that the German bonds were issued at 98, and that the rate of interest is 5 percent.

Liberty bonds will be easily convertible into cash, but it won't be so easy to get $5 on one when you don't really need it as it is to draw $5 from a savings bank account. That counts in favor of the bond.

Are you perfectly sure you have bought all the Liberty bonds you can afford? If you aren't, be a sport and buy another.

Over the top with the Liberty Loan subscription! Boston Globe.
