The election of Senior class and Class Day officers, with the exception of Secretary and Class Committees, which were held yesterday, resulted as follows:
First Marshal.--William John Bingham, of Methuen.
Second Marshal.--Edward William Mahan, of Natick.
Third Marshal.--Richard Norris Williams, 2d, of Cambridge.
Treasurer.--Henry Ludwig Flood Kreger, of Fairfield, Me.
Orator.--Donald Joseph Wallace, of Los Angeles, Cal.
Ivy Orator.--Evan Howell Foreman, of Atlanta, Ga.
Poet.--Robert Cutler, of Brookline.
Odist.--Kenneth Ballard Murdock, of Chestnut Hill.
Chorister.--Richard Mather Jopling, of Marquette, Mich.
The election of Marshals was conducted under the following rules: "Every voter shall vote for three candidates for Marshals, indicating his preference for First Marshal. Of the three elected, that candidate receiving the highest number of votes for First Marshal shall be declared First Marshal; of the other two elected, that one whose total vote is higher shall be Second Marshal, and the other one Third Marshal."
A few ballots were improperly marked, and were therefore disqualified. Where the votes were close, the ballots were recounted in order to avoid any possible mistakes. In the case of Williams and Blanchard, with a difference of one vote; nine recounts were taken to make sure of the result.
