The final step in uniting the teaching forces of the University, Andover Theological Seminary, and the Episcopal Theological School has been completed. Students in any of the three institutions may now take courses under the other faculties without the payment of further tuition, according to the announcement made by the faculty of the Episcopal School yesterday.

The new co-operation between the schools of various denominations marks a progressive step in the organization of divinity schools. The agreement provides that of the 14 courses required for a degree at the Episcopal Theological School,, five may be taken at Harvard or Andover, only 9 dealing with the fundamental subjects being reserved exclusively for the faculty of the school.

Episcopal divinity students may count courses taken at the University toward regular Harvard degrees, and will be enrolled as members of the University.

The chief condition laid down is that the Episcopal Theological School raise its tuition to $150, so as to equal the University rate. The co-operative plan is to go into effect next fall.
