FRESHMEN WILL MEET MILTON

IN-FIFTH REGULAR GAME OF ITS SCHEDULE AT MILTON THIS AFTERNOON.

The Freshman hockey team will play the fifth scheduled game of its season against Milton Academy at Milton this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The strength of the Milton team is more or less of an unknown quantity. On January 16 it defeated Cambridge Latin 4 to 0, and since then has played no games. Much improvement has been shown, however, in the last two weeks due to a number of shifts in the line-up, which have been successful in strengthening the attack.

Although the Freshmen will meet Milton handicapped by the absence of Captain Phillips and Tapping, they nevertheless appear to have the stronger team. Baker and Taylor who are substitutes for these two men have had some experience with the other forwards, and have showed promise. The defence will be as usual, except that Wigglesworth will probably start the game at goal instead of Washburn.

The line ups will be as follows: HARVARD 1915,  MILTON. Taylor, l.e.  r.e.,Kissell Baker, l.c.  r.c.,Trainer deWindt, r.c.  l.c., C. Felton Winsor, r,e.,  l.e., E. Felton Claflin, c.p.  c.p., Clark Handy, p.  p., Watson Wigglesworth, g.  g., Weld

Yesterday's Practice.

Practice for the first team yesterday afternoon was light, being designed only to accustom the new men in the line up to play with the rest of the team. To accomplish this, the forwards were sent down against the defence for about a quarter of an hour. The team-work of the forwards was very good, the men passing and shooting accurately.

After this the substitutes were given a long practice scrimmage against Arlington High, which the first team defeated yesterday by a score of 2 to 1. Their work was fairly satisfactory, though somewhat disorganized.
