CLASS DEBATING TEAMS

Six Men From Each Class Will be Retained Tonight for Further Trials.

The first trials for the interclass debating teams to compete soon under the auspices of the Debating Council will take place this evening. Five minute speeches will be made on either side of the subject for the interclass debate, "Resolved, That Woman Suffrage should be adopted in all states of the Union."

The Sophomore and Freshman trials will be held in the Trophy Room of the Union at 7 o'clock and the Senior and Junior trials in Sever 11 half an hour later. The judges for the lower classmen will be H. H. Breland 1L., M. Suravitz 1L., and S. L. Garrison 1L.; for the upperclassmen, F. E. Tyler 3L., G. K. Gardner 2L., and C. Collier 1L.

Six men will be picked tonight from each class to compete further for the three places on each team. Second trials will probably be held later in the week, and will consist of eight-minute main speehes and four-minute rebuttals.
